After breakfast drive to Nagarhole National Park. Nagarhole national park, the
enchanting 247 square-mile park in Karnataka has an astonishing abundance of
wildlife including large mammals such as tiger, leopard, wild elephant, Dhole
(Indian wild dog), and gaur (Indian bison). Other species present are chital spotted
deer, Muntjac (barking deer), mouse deer, four-horned antelope, wild boar, sloth
bear, hyena, mongoose, civet, otter, and more. The landscape is one of gentle slopes
and shallow valleys. Dry deciduous forest trees are leafless in the summer rather
than in the winter. There are grassy swamps where the soil is clayey, perennially
moist, and which support a luxuriant growth of green grass all year. The change in
terrain throughout the park in refreshing and the river system provides a unique
wildlife viewing experience.

Located in the southern part of the beautiful state of Karnataka, Bandipur is one of
the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in India. The Bandipur National Park was made by the
Maharaja of Mysore in the year 1931 and was then spread over an area of 90 sq kms.
The name Bandipur National Park was given in the year 1973 when the Govern ment took
over the park under the Project Tiger Scheme and it was then made into a Tiger
Reserve.

God's own country. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British
rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys
and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon visit Tea
gardens & explore Munnar town.

The beautiful Eravikulam National Park is situated in the high ranges of the
southern western ghats, a short distance from the tea town of Munnar. The place is
especially known for supporting a large population of the Nilgiri tahr, a mountain
goat seen in parts of south India.
Once a hunting reserve for the British, the place was declared a wildlife sanctuary
in 1975 and further accorded the status of a national park in 1978. The lush green
surroundings are the result of the abundant rainfall that it receives. Temperatures
may dip below the freezing point at night time during winters. The park remains open
for visitors throughout the year except for a small period between January and
March. The best time to visit the park are the months of September and October, when
the entire area is covered with greenery and blooming flowers and which is also the
best time for animal spotting.
After breakfast Proceed to Thekkady and check into the hotel. Thekkady is considered
a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. The
main attraction in thekkady is boating on the lake and the Mullai Periyar Dam.
Boating will take approximate 2 hours and you can also get rare glimpses of wild
animals. Enjoy sunset boat ride in the lake.

After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, Kumarakom is a serenely beautiful and scenic
backwater destination, a charming peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent
Vembanad Lake that is dotted with plenty of traditional rice boats and canoes,
