Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi

Once you arrive at Delhi International Airport, our representative will be there to greet you. Then you will be escorted to a hotel of your choice. Your exciting Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho begins from Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

Our representative will take you for a guided tour of Delhi in the morning. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Lotus Temple. Return to the hotel where you enjoy a cultural evening before you settle down for the night.

Day 03: Delhi - Indore

Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to delhi airport to board flight for Indore.Here Full Day Sightseeing Tour Of Indore Visiting Rajwadwa, Kanch Mandir, Lal Bag Palace & Chattri Bagh.

Day 04: Indore - Mandu (85kms/01:30hrs)

After breakfast, leave for "City of Joy" called Mandu on 90 kms east of Indore city. On reaching Mandu, appointed local guide will take us for local sightseeing of Mandu city.
Mandu in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh State in Central India, is a historical city. Mandu city is stretched over13 kms belt on crest of Vindhya range, close to Narmada river valley. History of Mandu goes back to 6th century. Monument in Mandu were built in 14th & 15 century itself. Places to visit in Mandu are: Roopmati pavallion, Buland Darwaza (Darwaza means Gate), Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Jami Masjid, Baz Bahadur Mahal, Rewa Kund, Hoshang Shah Tomb, Echo point etc. Ideal Mandu sightseeing is two days but must see points can be covered in single day sightseeing. Baobab tree in Mandu is another amazing thing to watch as it is rarely seen in India.

Day 05: Mandu - Maheshwar (65kms/01:30hrs)

Begin our day with half-day visit to monument left in first day sightseeing. Later, after lunch drive towards pilgrimage town Maheshwar about 65kms from Mandu. Do local sightseeing of holy town on the bank of Narmada river. Maheshwar in west part of Madhya Pradesh State in Central India. In Hindu religious books like Ramayan & Mahabharat, it is referred by the name of Mahismati, capital of King Kartivarjun. Places to visit in Maheshwar are : Maheshwar fort, Rajarajeshwara Temple, Kaleshwara Temple, Narmada Ghats, manufacturing units of Maheshwari Silk Sarees (Indian women traditional outfit) etc. Current Historical look of Maheshwar was result of efforts of Holkar Queen – Rani Ahilyabai in whose reign, many famous temples were constructed due to her efforts.

Day 06: Maheshwar - Omkareshwar - Bhopal (268kms/05:30hrs)

We will start the day with drive towards another beautiful holy island town called Omkareshwar (80kms/02:00hrs). On reaching Omkareshwar, we will do guided half day tour of the temples. It is at the confluence of Narmada & Kaveri rivers. After having lunch in Omkareshwar, we move towards Bhopal (188kms / 03:30hrs).

Day 07: Bhopal - Sanchi - Jabalpur (350kms/06:40hrs)

After Breakfast Start The Half-Day City Tour Of Bhopal Visiting Taj-Ul-Masjid, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, And Bharat Bhavan. In the evening board the train for Jabalpur.

Day 08: Jabalpur - Kanha National Park (152kms/03:00hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Kanha National Park and check-in the Jungle Resort. Proceed for the Jungle Gypsy safari in the national Park.

Day 09: Kanha National Park - Jabalpur (152kms/03:00hrs)

Early in the morning move out deep inside the park on the jungle gypsy safari and spot the Sher Khan (the tiger). After lunch set out once again for the jungle safari. Enjoy the tribal folk dances around the bonfire in the evening and back to Jabalpur .

Day 10: Jabalpur- Khajuraho (273kms/05:20hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Khajuraho .On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Evening witness Sound and Light show organized by Indian Horizons.

Day 11: Khajuraho

Morning after breakfast proceeds for full day sightseeing tour of temples of Khajuraho. Visit both richer distinctive groups of temples are the Western and Eastern group of temples of Khajuraho. Visit to the world famous temples constructed between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The main attractive temples are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu. Also, visit to Parasvanath Temple, the only exisiting Jain Temple in Khajuraho. The other fascinating temples that you can witness at Khajuraho are dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

Day 12: Khajuraho - Orchha - Jhansi / Gwalior (293kms/06:00hrs)

Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jhansi. En-route visit Orchha. Orchha in the Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh was the erstwhile capital city of the redoubtable Bundela kings. 16th and 17th century palaces and temples make Orchha, a famous tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh. Bordered by the beautiful Betwa River, Orchha reflects the sumptuousness and magnificence of the mighty Bundelas. An artificial island with the meaning a ‘hidden place’ Orchha, lives up to its name. Placed in the lustrous Bundelkhand countryside, this pretty locale is bestowed with natural beauty and splendor.
On arrival at Jhansi transfer to Jhansi Railway Station to board train for Gwalior. Meeting & Assistance on arrival at Gwalior Railway Station by Indian Horizons representative transferred to hotel. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

Day 13: Gwalior - Agra (119kms/02:15hrs)

Morning after breakfast proceed to explore the city renowned for several fascinating temples and palaces visiting:
Gwalior Fort: Built by Raja Man Singh Tomar, this architectural splendor is considered to be one of the invincible fortresses in India. Located on a precipice, it is surrounded by high walls. Tansen's Tomb: The tomb of Tansen, one of the nine jewels at the court of Akbar, is located adja cent to Gujari Mahal Gujari Mahal: Built by the king Man Singh Tomar for his queen, it is one of the most visited tourist haunts of Gwalior. Jai Vilas Palace: A fort cum museum complex, it gives insight into the life of the erstwhile rulers of the city. Man Mandir Palace: Built by emperor Babur, it reminds one of the ambience and chivalry of the era. Late evening you will be transferred to Gwalior Railway Station to board train for Agra. Day 14: Agra

Morning after breakfast proceeds for sightseeing otur of agra. Agra has found its mention in the famous Hindu epic Mahabharat as the forest of Agraban close to Mathura. Badal Singh founded the city in 1475. Sikandar Lodhi made Agra his capital city. Later, Babur defeated the Lodhis to capture the city situated on the banks of River Yamuna and thus, the long association of Mughals with Agra started. The Mughal love of architecture translated into beautiful monuments such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra. Visit World famous one of the Wonder of the World TAJ MAHAL, built by Shah – Jehan in memory of his beloved wife MUMTAJ also visit Agra Fort- The fort is built alongside the Yamuna river and stretches almost 2.5 km. It consists of a wall built in red sandstone and several buildings inside.

Day 15 Agra - Delhi Depart (204kms/04:00hrs)

Late morning after breakfast drive by surface to Delhi. On arrival visit a famous traditional market called Dilli Hat. Situated in the heart of Delhi, the unique Dilli Haat is an upgraded version of the traditional weekly market, offering a delightful amalgam of craft, food and cultural activities.
